Question 1: My waste disposal unit – Sink Erator – Garbage Disposal Unit is buzzing or making a humming sound.

Answer : The motor may be jammed, the motor may be worn out you should turn off the power to the unit and book in a site visit to inspect the unit.

Question 2: My Waste Disposal Unit – Sink Erator – Garbage Disposal Unit is leaking.

Answer : Turn off the power to the unit immediately as water and electric combined are dangerous, the top seal may be leaking because it is perished and may need replacing, the waste water pipes connected to the unit may need tightening or replacing as they have worked loose or were badly installed.
